Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Blessing
Following the conclusion of the 1:00 pm Mass, graduating seniors and their families are invited to participate in a special ceremony. One of the Norbertine Fathers will offer some words of encouragement to the graduating students.
There will be an opportunity to entrust their vocations to Our Lady by presenting Her with a rose, and then students will receive a Marian medal and a blessing.
This is an excellent opportunity to participate in a faith-filled graduation ceremony, especially for homeschoolers, private, and/or public high school graduates.
Caps and gowns are optional, and they are to be provided by the families. Families are also welcome to bring the students' diplomas. There will be time after the conclusion of the Mass to move to the back of the Shrine Church to put on caps and gowns (if desired) and receive the roses and prayer cards before returning to the nave of the Church to begin.
If you plan to attend Holy Mass and participate in the blessing, please fill out the form on the right. You will be contacted by a Shrine Volunteer with more details.
