The Marian Catechist Mass Guild offers a beautiful alternative to traditional gift giving. Enrollment in the Guild is a gift with supernatural benefits – the grace we all need to grow in holiness! In the words of Servant of God Father John A. Hardon, “We should encourage people to have Masses offered for their own and other people’s intentions. This is our faith. And not just for the deceased but for the living – the living who are suffering, the living who are in need, the living who are estranged from God. There is an extra ordinary special grace for those for whom Masses are offered.”
Who can be enrolled?
Anyone. The person may be living or deceased. He may be a friend or a family member, an acquaintance who is facing difficult times, or even someone with whom we struggle
What are the benefits of enrollment?
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered for enrollees at 12:15 on the first Saturday of each month at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe. What kinds of enrollment are available?
There are two kinds of enrollment: In Memory enrollments are perfect for enrolling a person who is deceased. Our Lady of Guadalupe is featured on the front of these cards. These cards feature either the Sacred Heart of Jesus or an icon of the Holy Family. The Holy Family card is especially fitting for Christmas.
