Traditional Latin Mass: The Annunciation
Traditional Latin Mass with music of the Messe ‘Cum jubilo’ (1966) by Maruice Duruflé, for baritone soloist (Alan Dunbar), men’s choir and organ (Samuel Backman). With choral motets by Duruflé and Palestrina, we integrate this famous musical setting of the Mass for Our Lady with the Holy Mass.
Priest’s Day of Recollection – With Bishop Battersby
Priests from all Dioceses are invited to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe for the Priest’s Day of Recollection. The evening includes a talk by Bishop Battersby of La Crosse, Holy Hour, and dinner in the Culina.

4:45 – 5:30 pm | Silent Adoration
5:30 pm | Vespers followed by Benediction and Reposition
Following Vespers, the priests are invited to the Culina around 6:00 pm for dinner (menu below)

About Bishop Battersby
On March 19, 2024, His Holiness Pope Francis named Bishop Battersby as the 11th Bishop of the Diocese of La Crosse.
Installed May 20, 2024, the Bishop participated in the Eucharistic Pilgrimage in La Crosse – which included a procession at the Shrine. The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is pleased to have Bishop Battersby with us again!
