Relic of Padre Pio
Throughout 2024, the year of the 25th anniversary of the Beatification of Padre Pio, The National Centre for Padre Pio, aims to renew the tradition of outreach to the faithful. The mission of the National Centre for Padre Pio, Inc., is to lead souls to God, through the example of Padre Pio, the first priest in history to bear the stigmata; the wounds of Christ.
The tour includes both a first and second class relic. The first class relic is a bloodstained bandage that was used to cover the wound on Padre Pio’s side, and the second class relic is his one of his gloves. Both relics will be properly displayed in the Shrine’s Lower Narthex for public veneration.
These relics of Padre Pio will be visiting the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe June 15-16. Come for public veneration and do not miss the opportunity to witness the Saint Pio Relic Tour 2024 at the Shrine!
Veneration Schedule

Other Opportunities for Relic Veneration at the Shrine!
The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, “serves the spiritual needs of those who suffer poverty in body and soul. It is a place of ceaseless prayer for the corporal and spiritual welfare of God’s children, especially those in most need.”
“RELIC. An object connected with a saint, e.g., part of the body or clothing or something the person had used or touched. Authentic relics are venerated with the Church’s warm approbation. They may not be bought or sold. Those of a martyr are placed in the altar stone at the consecration of an altar.”
