Pronouncing The Holy Name of Jesus
The Holy Name of Jesus pronounced by His Apostles and their successors signifies that Our Lord Himself is alive in the Church and acting on our behalf, above all, in the Sacraments. Each of us professes our faith in Our Lord and gives Him thanks by pronouncing with deepest love His Holy Name. Knowing and venerating the name of Jesus, we both profess the truth of His saving presence in our midst through the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and we call upon His immeasurable and unfailing help throughout each day of our earthly pilgrimage.
Cardinal Burke discusses the importance of celebrating the Holy Name of Jesus throughout the month of January.
