Queen of the Americas Guild Conference
The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is excited to announce this year’s Queen of the Americas Guild Conference, hosted at the Shrine from Friday, October 20 to Saturday, October 21.

The theme of the conference will be “Religious Liberty in Catholic Teaching and Its Denial in Neopagan Western Culture,” a critical topic for Catholics to study and discuss as they hold up the light of Christ in an ever-changing secular world.
The mission of the Queen of the Americas Guild is closely aligned with that of the Shrine: The Guild’s purpose, as summarized in ,its mission statement, is “fostering awareness of and devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe as Mother of the Americas through education, prayer, and pilgrimage.” For this purpose, the Guild holds conferences and pilgrimages to spread Our Lady’s message.

The annual conference at the Shrine is open to all. This year’s keynote speaker will be Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, who serves prominently at the Guild as well as the Shrine, as one of the Guild’s Board of Directors. Other speakers include Bishop Juan Miguel Betancourt, Msgr. Fernando B. Felices Sanchez, and Fr. Gerald Murray. Marty Rotella, an acclaimed Catholic singer and songwriter, will be providing music and serving as Master of Ceremonies.
