Weekend Receptionist
Weekend Receptionists serve as the first point of contact for pilgrims and callers during weekend operating hours. Receptionists are responsible for providing a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere, assisting pilgrims with information and directions, answering and routing telephone calls, and supporting pilgrims’ hospitality needs.
Major Gift Officer
The Shrine’s Development Department is experiencing significant growth, allowing us to expand our team and deepen our relationships with the generous benefactors who make our mission possible.
We are seeking a Major Gifts Officer to cultivate meaningful relationships with donors who are passionate about supporting the mission of the Shrine. This position is an opportunity for an experienced development professional to combine fundraising expertise with a love for the Catholic faith and a desire to invite others into greater participation in the life and mission of the Church.
Sous Chef
The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe is seeking a mission-focused Sous Chef to support our growing hospitality ministry.
The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee daily food production in the Culina Mariana Cafe and prepare for the opening of its new Pilgrim House in the spring of 2027. This position will play a key role in developing menus, standardizing recipes, and creating systems that support future food service operations, maintain high culinary standards, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.

If you are interested in assisting pilgrims from all over the world or in helping behind the scenes, and nourishing one’s own spiritual life, please consider becoming a volunteer.
We are seeking volunteer help in a variety of areas, including:
- Votive Candle Chapel
- Cart Drivers
- Liturgical
- Assist the Norbertines in the care of the Shrine church
- Help in departments as needed
- Data Entry
- Caring for the grounds, i.e. clearing snow and ice; maintenance; projects
- Landscaping; maintaining the gardens; Our Lady’s Garden Club
- Annual Fall and Spring Clean Up Days
- Front Desk
