Corpus Christi
What does Corpus Christi mean? The words “Corpus Christi” mean “Body of Christ” and are another name for the “Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ” celebrated on the Sunday after Trinity Sunday. This solemnity marks with particular emphasis the doctrine of Christ’s real presence—body, blood, soul, and divinity—in the Eucharist.

18th Dedication Anniversary Mass
On July 31, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will celebrate the eighteenth anniversary of the dedication of the Shrine Church. This joyful occasion marks another year of grace since the Shrine was solemnly dedicated as a place of pilgrimage, prayer, and devotion to Our Lady under her title of Guadalupe.
Pilgrims are invited to join in giving thanks to Almighty God for the many blessings received through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary since the Shrine’s dedication. The celebration will include a special bilingual Holy Mass at 12:15 p.m., offered by the Shrine’s founder, His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke.
All are warmly welcome to attend this anniversary celebration and to unite in prayer for the continued mission of the Shrine as a place of spiritual renewal, Marian devotion, and fidelity to Christ and His Church.
