Prism Concert “In Praise of Mary”
Enjoy music from many periods in history, played by brass quintet and organ, and sung by choir and soloists. Selections will be played in the style of a “prism concert”, in that each piece is performed in immediate succession, emanating from different parts of the beautiful Shrine church, with its magnificent acoustics. From Gregorian chant (1st millennium) to Bach (18th century) to Callahan (21st century), music in Honor of Our Lady will culminate in a grand finale for all performers. The concert takes place at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, 5250 Justin Road, Wisconsin 54601.
