Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe
The Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Saturday, December 12, 2026 | 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Join us for the pinnacle of the liturgical year at the Shrine: the Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe. On this day, we commemorate the 1531 apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Juan Diego, an event that brought the light of the Gospel to the Americas.
From the early morning sounds of the Mariachi to the Solemn Bilingual Mass with Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke, this day is a profound pilgrimage of faith, tradition, and devotion.
Highlights of the Feast
Mañanitas & Mariachi: Wake the dawn with traditional Mexican songs of praise offered to our Mother.
The Mantle Wrapping: A unique and moving devotion where pilgrims are invited to be “wrapped” in a replica of the Virgin’s miraculous mantle, symbolizing her maternal protection.
Three Holy Masses: Liturgies offered in Spanish, the Usus Antiquior (Traditional Latin), and a Bilingual Solemn Mass.
