Corpus Christi
What does Corpus Christi mean? The words “Corpus Christi” mean “Body of Christ” and are another name for the “Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ” celebrated on the Sunday after Trinity Sunday. This solemnity marks with particular emphasis the doctrine of Christ’s real presence—body, blood, soul, and divinity—in the Eucharist.

Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe
The Feast or Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe takes place December 12. The date’s significance comes from the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City and her image miraculously appearing on the Tilma of Juan Diego. The Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe is specially celebrated here at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, WI.
