The faithful are invited to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on May 1 to celebrate 1st Class Feast of St. Joseph the Workman, patron of the Diocese of La Crosse. On this feast day, the Shrine’s founder, His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, will offer a Solemn Pontifical Mass at 11:00 am.
The faithful are invited to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on May 2 to participate in the May Crowning of Our Lady, which will take place during the 12:15 pm First Saturday Holy Mass.
Scott Turkington Organ Recital
The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe invites pilgrims and visitors to a special organ recital by Scott Turkington, Director of Sacred Music at the Shrine, on Sunday, August 16 at 3:00 p.m.
Mr. Turkington will perform a program of sacred organ music on the Shrine’s magnificent 50 rank Noack pipe organ, an instrument known for its rich tonal beauty and ability to bring the Church’s musical tradition to life.
All are welcome to attend this afternoon of sacred music and reflection. Admission is free and donations are gratefully accepted.
