The Solemnity of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th is celebrated with exceptional splendor at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This year the day includes making the official Act of Consecration with Cardinal Burke. What is the Nine-Month Novena?
Act of Consecration
Cardinal Burke is currently writing the Official Act of Consecration to Our Lady of Guadalupe. On December 12th, His Eminence will celebrate the Holy Mass at 12:15 p.m. and make the Act the Consecration. He will sit in choir during the 8:30 a.m. Mass and 3:00 p.m., yet he will lead the congregation in the Act of Consecration. PLEASE NOTE that all the Masses are full and that there are no more tickets. For those without tickets, we encourage you to watch the EWTN broadcast or the live-stream on the Shrines website at 12:15 p.m. Central Time and make the Official Act of Consecration from home.

Due to the overwhelming response to the invitation to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine on Thursday, December 12, the Masses are full and there are no more tickets. For those without tickets, we encourage you to watch the EWTN broadcast or the live-stream on the Shrines website at 12:15 p.m. Central Time and make the Official Act of Consecration from home.

Pilgrimage to the Shrine
The Shrine is a Vatican-approved place of pilgrimage, affiliated with the Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome and the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. Graces and blessings given to pilgrims at those Basilicas are also bestowed upon anyone who comes on pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
