Roses for Our Lady A Sign of Love and Devotion
All 2,000 roses have been reserved for July 31st. Truly Our Lady has been showered with love and gratitude on this anniversary!
On July 31, 2008, the Shrine Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe was solemnly dedicated to the glory of Almighty God and under the maternal protection of His Virgin Mother. Since that day, tens of thousands of pilgrims have come to this holy place to encounter Christ through prayer, the Sacraments, and the loving intercession of Our Lady.
To mark the eighteenth anniversary of this sacred event, you are invited to make an act of spiritual and visible devotion: to offer roses to Our Lady, as a sign of your love for her and your trust in her unfailing care.
These roses and their accompanying petitions will remain in the Shrine Church throughout the day and into the days that follow.
You still may submit your petitions to be set before Our Lady at the Dedication Mass by filling out the form below prior to July 29th.
We are not able to offer more roses for this occasion, but you can still offer flowers to Our Lady through her Garden Club or support her work at the Shrine in a special way through Our Lady’s Messengers. Or, consider offering your intentions to the Little Flower through the St Therese Guild.
