Mock-Up Room Reveal at the Upcoming Pilgrim House

To ensure the highest standards of quality throughout the Pilgrim House, the construction team completed a mock-up guest room before proceeding with the remaining rooms. This fully realized space allows the Shrine, architects, and contractors to experience the finished design firsthand, refine construction details, and make any practical adjustments before those elements are repeated throughout the building. Much of the artwork currently displayed in the mock-up room is a rudimentary rendition of the classical style that will adorn the finalized rooms. With the above-grade structure now complete and the building increasingly protected from the elements, work is transitioning into the next phase. Drywall installation is underway and will continue for several months, followed by painting, ceilings, and other interior finishes as each area becomes ready.
