The faithful are invited to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on May 1 to celebrate 1st Class Feast of St. Joseph the Workman, patron of the Diocese of La Crosse. On this feast day, the Shrine’s founder, His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, will offer a Solemn Pontifical Mass at 11:00 am.
The faithful are invited to make a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe on May 2 to participate in the May Crowning of Our Lady, which will take place during the 12:15 pm First Saturday Holy Mass.
Solemn Pontifical Mass for Our Lady of the Snow
IMPORTANT NOTE: 12:15 Mass in English is canceled May 1.
On August 5, the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe will celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Snow with a Solemn Pontifical Mass offered by His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke. The Mass will be celebrated according to the Ancient Use of the Roman Rite, commonly known as the Traditional Latin Mass.
This ancient feast commemorates the dedication of the Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome and honors the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of the Snow. Pilgrims are warmly invited to join in this solemn liturgical celebration in honor of Our Lady and in thanksgiving for her maternal care for the Church. All are welcome to attend.
